On June 10, 2025, IDEC GROUP IBERICA, the Spanish subsidiary of GROUPE IDEC, formalized a strategic partnership with Ontime, Spain’s leading integrated logistics company. This alliance marks a major milestone in the development of Puerto Seco de Antequera, a multimodal and sustainable logistics platform integrated into the Red Logística de Andalucía, located in Andalusia.
As the first company to confirm its presence in the park, Ontime demonstrates its confidence in this major European and global project. The group will develop a 36,000 m² tri-temperature logistics facility on a 63,000 m² plot, including over 20,000 m² of temperature-controlled space (negative and positive), strengthening its leadership in cold chain logistics.
The site’s exceptional connectivity by road, rail, sea, and air was a key factor. Spanning over 330 hectares, Puerto Seco de Antequera has direct access to the Mediterranean and Atlantic rail corridors as well as Spain’s main highways, making it one of southern Europe’s most ambitious logistics hubs.
This project is part of a sustainable and innovative development approach, supported by a public-private partnership engaged since 2009. It enjoys backing from the Antequera City Hall, led by Manuel Jesús Barón Ríos, the Málaga City Hall, represented by Francisco de la Torre, the Andalusian Public Ports Agency (APPA), and the province of Málaga.
Patrice Lafargue, President of GROUPE IDEC, states:
“This partnership symbolizes our shared vision of an ambitious logistics development based on innovation, sustainability, and strong local roots. Puerto Seco de Antequera embodies this new generation of projects we support: connected, responsible, and open to Europe.”
Ontime’s arrival marks the first realization of a development that will soon be enriched by several other installations, making 2025 a pivotal year for Puerto Seco de Antequera.
